Method Magazine Method is the in–house design magazine of Grimshaw Architect’s Melbourne studio. It emulates the fluidity and roughness of the design process — often in architecture we only ever see highly polished CGI images, never the sketches that have lead to that image. Method is about sharing the process and thinking of the Melbourne studio.
The design tips its hat to the Grimshaw brand with the use of Replica whilst creating something new with rips, tears, textures and Times New Roman as a secondary typeface. This is directly referenced in the logotype.
Pictured here are mock–ups showing how the branding could be extended to social media announcements and promotions. The next iteration of Method will focus on the theme of “Ethics” and is promoted using the colour way of the new issue.
